Refunds & Returns (Perishable Goods)
Due to the perishable nature of our chocolates, we are unable to accept returns for unwanted items or orders placed in error. This is in line with UK consumer law, which excludes perishable goods from the 14-day cooling-off period.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your chocolates are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so we can assess the issue and put it right.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.
If you are unhappy with your chocolates, please contact Sally, our Chief Chocolatier, at sally@grangechocolates.co.uk. In some circumstances, we may ask for the goods to be returned for inspection before a refund or replacement is agreed.
Where a return is required, items must be:
-
Uneaten
-
In their original packaging
-
In the same condition as received
-
Accompanied by proof of purchase
Approved returns should be sent to:
Grange Chocolates
Brook House
Church Lane
Garforth
Leeds
LS25 1HB
Once we have received and inspected the returned items, we will confirm whether a refund or replacement has been approved. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process the payment. Where appropriate, a replacement may be offered instead.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact us at sally@grangechocolates.co.uk.
Please note that sale items and gift cards are non-refundable unless faulty.
Payment for Goods
All orders must be paid in full before they are processed or dispatched. Ownership of the goods transfers to you once they have been delivered.
Our chocolates are supplied for personal use only and may not be sold, resold, or offered for sale — including as a “white label” product — without prior written consent or a formal agreement with Grange Chocolates.
